Raku ceramic sculpture, white hen. Each piece created with the ancient Raku technique is unique and inimitable. The particular crafting technique involves a strong thermal shock, where the red-hot object is immersed in wood shavings and then in water. This sudden temperature drop creates a unique glazed effect called "craquelure." Every piece is unique, so there will be slight variations in color, glaze, and pattern. Proudly handmade in Sardinia, in the workshop of Calangianus (Italy).
