Our way of reinterpreting the ancient Raku pottery technique: each piece is unique and unrepeatable. Small differences between products are a true sign of their artisanal nature.

Raku Sculptures

  • The Raku Technique

The Raku technique is known for its beauty and unpredictability, which reveal themselves through cracks, streaks, and irregularities on the surface of each piece. The Raku process involves rapidly heating the ceramics in a kiln to around 800–1000°C, followed by quick cooling. After firing, the pieces are often placed in a combustible material such as sawdust, which ignites from the residual heat. This reduction process creates the characteristic black cracks and distinctive colors typical of Raku ceramics.

  • Each Raku ceramic piece is born from a delicate balance between craftsmanship and the natural unpredictability of the material. The available sculptures tell different stories: animal figures, symbolic shapes, and abstract details that invite you to observe, imagine, and reflect. Every Raku piece has its own character and unique shades, enriching your space with an object that can never be exactly replicated. This collection is designed for those who seek authenticity and wish to bring home the echo of an ancient technique that still speaks to the present. Among the available creations are animals full of meaning: the pavoncella—a deep symbol of Sardinian culture—along with hens, goats, whales, fish, and reindeer. Each figure is hand-shaped and finished with unique color effects and crackle patterns, born from the unpredictable encounter between fire, smoke, and skilled hands.
