Tray with white peacock motif

Handcrafted ceramic tray in an oval shape, with wavy edges, glazed in glossy white, featuring an engraving and decoration of two white peacocks, and finished with details along the edges that complete the piece. The tray is fired at 925 degrees with food-safe glazes, all created by the artisans in our workshop in Calangianus, Sardinia (Italy).

The depiction of the peacock holds many meanings on our island; it is associated, among other things, with the phoenix, which rises from its ashes to symbolize the Christian resurrection of the soul. It is perfect for serving a variety of dishes but could also serve as a unique decorative piece in any kitchen.
