The cork tray is known by many names; in Gallura (Sardinia), it is called "jona." It is used to serve cooked meats, such as the famous roast suckling pig, as well as cured meats and cheeses.
The tray is completely natural, not treated with chemicals, and ready to use.
To clean it, just use plenty of water and, if necessary, some lemon juice, which is an excellent natural degreaser.
