The cork tray is known by many names; in Gallura (Sardinia, Italy), it is called "jona". It is used to serve cooked meats, such as the famous roast suckling pig, as well as cured meats and cheeses.
The tray is completely natural, untreated with chemicals, and ready for immediate use.
To wash it, simply use plenty of water and, if necessary, lemon juice, an excellent natural degreaser.
