The cork tray is known by many names; in Gallura (Sardinia, Italy) it is called "jona." It is used to serve cooked meats, such as the famous roast suckling pig, as well as cold cuts and cheeses.
The tray is completely natural, not treated with chemicals, and ready to use.
To wash it, simply use plenty of water and, if needed, lemon juice, an excellent natural degreaser.
