How to Wash Stain-Resistant Polyester Tablecloths
Daily cleaning of a stain-resistant tablecloth is simple and quick. For liquid stains, it is sufficient to blot with a damp cloth, avoiding rubbing, as this might drive the liquid deeper into the fabric. If the stain persists, you can use lukewarm water and soap applied with a cloth, and then dry it immediately with another clean cloth. In addition to daily cleaning, stain-resistant polyester tablecloths, thanks to their practicality, can be conveniently washed in a washing machine at a temperature of 40°C. For drying, they can also be dried in a tumble dryer at a low temperature to avoid shrinking or damage. The practicality of polyester stain-resistant tablecloths means they do not require ironing.

How far should the tablecloth hang from the table?
For an elegant and well-groomed look, it is important that the tablecloth hangs properly from the table. When discussing the drop of the tablecloth, we refer to how much the tablecloth hangs over the sides from the tabletop.
Generally, for everyday use, the tablecloth should hang between 15 and 35 cm, allowing for practicality and convenience. To be more precise, it is suggested that for lunch, the drop should be between 15 and 20 cm, while for dinner, the recommended drop is between 20 and 30 cm.
For more formal events, it is advisable for the tablecloth to hang up to 40 cm on each side of the table, creating a more elegant and refined effect.
For important occasions like gala dinners, the tablecloth can drop up to 75 cm, almost reaching the floor and covering the table completely.
Whether it's a simple family lunch or an elegant dinner, the right tablecloth drop can truly make a difference, making the table more welcoming.

Some curiosities about the patterns on Artigianato Pasella tablecloths
The patterns printed on the tablecloths at Artigianato Pasella enrich your table with deep meanings and fascinating symbols.
Let’s explore some of the most beloved patterns:
The Calla Lily: Derived from the Greek word “kalós,” meaning beautiful, it symbolizes purity, elegance, and eternal life. Its funnel-shaped form and pleasant fragrance give it a special place in the floral world, and it appears not only in its classic white color but also in vibrant shades such as yellow, burgundy, or orange. The calla lilies on our tablecloths recreate a delicate and elegant atmosphere on your table.
The Hydrangea: Native to Asia and also known as the Japanese rose, it symbolizes a love that is budding, gratitude, admiration, and harmony. A unique flower capable of changing its petal color based on soil acidity: blue in acidic soils, pink or red in less acidic soils, while white hydrangeas remain unchanged. With a blooming period from April until the end of summer, the hydrangea on our tablecloths brings color and vibrancy to your table.
-
Bougainvillea: A climbing plant native to South America. A tribute to passion and welcome, it is often found adorning garden and home entrances. It blooms from June to September, covering itself with numerous flowers in colors ranging from pink to purple, and even red-orange hues. Its vibrant display will make your table inviting.
Lily: Better known as the lily, it is a symbol of purity and majesty. Its large trumpet-shaped white flowers, with yellow stamens and a sweet, intense fragrance, bloom on stems that can reach up to 120 cm in height. Blooming in June and July, the lily brings a touch of classic elegance to our tablecloths.
Corals: Colonies of tiny creatures called polyps, which, when united, form spectacular coral reefs. The beautiful sea of Sardinia is home to *Corallium rubrum*, or red coral, one of the most prized in the Mediterranean. With its brilliant red or pink color, coral on our tablecloths evokes the magic of the underwater world.
